I feel like razordons can go down to 60-70 per model, while salamanders going up to 90-100. Not that I want the latter...
the latter will happen only when a sufficiently large amount of customers will have bought a sufficiently large amount of salamanders, and so there will be no more reason for GW to push their purchase.
Am I the only one that absolutely love and adore this old model? Im missing 2, then I have 2 sets of 3 each.
Hi , I have the start collecting with 8 Knights , you say that i can build 3 of them in salamanders ? Is there a tutorial for this or Something ? thanks
But saurus knights are so good.... It’s fairly simple, add some green stuff or other putty to the underside of the throat, make a sail, then create a simple paddle on the tail. That gets the gist of a salamander down pretty well
Still can’t get myself to build and paint them no matter how good they are.... And I shelled out the big bucks for flesh hounds to convert anyway. Just got my 6th one in the mail... not looking forward to doing green stuff again though.
This seems like as good a place as any to post my silly opinion. It seems to me that GW typically does very little with updates for legacy armies to save money. I assume GW feels that most people have already bought lots of minis for those various armies, making new models not a decent money maker. That said, since they retooled the Seraphon meta with the new battletome and made salamanders really good, I feel it would have been a great time to put out a new salamander kit. If the model looked good (which I admit is subjective), I bet GW would have sold a TON, even to old collectors. It would have been a much more necessary purchase than the new Realmshaper Engine. IDK, maybe GW realizes that we'll buy the current finecast salamander just because... Would most of you Long-Term Lizards just keep your current salamanders or would you buy a new model?
Buy new salamanders? In a heart beat! Some of the alternatives are incredible, and GW being GW would probably release something good to compete. I would love to see that happen
@Caleb ex nihilo, I'm sorry, I should have first jumped in and said "Thank you" for these videos. So thank you! The videos are very interesting and helpful.
