So here is my wip scar-vet or oldblood, I am trying to get him to look like the albino one in the armybook. Yet I do have the feeling that its still a bit too blueish. I am going to add white highlights, but I'm wondering if I would paint another layer. One with even less blue.

I am using a mix of regal blue, hawk turq and alot of skull white (in comparison too the two other colors).

Your thoughts please, bear in mind its only the skin. No bone, gold or anything else :P

Thanks!

edit: Too much light on the photo, blame the camera. The overall skin isnt that white. its comparable to this color

Looks really nice! I used that same model for my Gor-Rok conversion.

I think that it looks really nice, you do get the albino look even though it's a bit blue. I guess that you have done it already but if you haven't try a final layer of pure Skull White, if you want a more white look to it.

Re: W.I.P. Scar-vet / Oldblood update 21/11

And i finished my Scarvet! Took me a while though, the skin was a pain :P

Again, tell me what you guys think about it ^^

and yes, I know, basing :P

I like it! It looks like he's already made someone bleed... :bored:

Awesome, I like the way the really pale colour came out. Good work.

Makes me want to get back to painting my lads..

wow it looks really gd for my gor rok conversion i had painted him skull white with a regal blue drybrush

very nice job, have me thinking of redoing my shields to that great color purple

Nice work!

Does he rank up neatly with Warriors? I had to put mine on a diagonal base instead of the vertical-slot base he came with.
