I'm going for some Lizardmen for Warlord game by Reaper, probably I'll use plastics from GW coz I like converting. Well Reapers new minis are not my taste. I like their Classic Lizardmen frem Reaper more but there is very limited number of them and it would be too many duplicates as for Warlord Army. And converting meta is real pain.

I'll wirte some more about conversion ideas when I get my mind up.

But here's a question for you. Do you know any other lizardmen minis than GW and Reaper ones?

there are a couple here and there but Reaper and GW have the most variety.
Most of the other brand might only 3 or 4 diferent models.

You might check out TrollForged mini they have about 3 different heros.
    avatars of war has one.
Dragonblood Miniatures hass a few heros and troops.
Wargods of Aegyptius has the Sobeki (gator men)
there was another old line of Egyption lizard minis out thre that are about warlord size.

Here are my first Troops for Warlord

    Troop 1
    1 Chhaya
    4 Spikeshell Warrior

    Troop 2
    1 Dragon Turtle

Those are all Turtle warriors. Chhava is a champion armed with spear and Spikeshield warrior are armed with bludgeon weapons and shields.
My first thought was to make them from saurus bodies and sculpt their shells and faces. But I'm not sure if making them from skinks wouldn't be better as those guys are one wounded models (most of human-sized models are 2 wounded).
I still have no idea on turtle dragon. It's just a giant turtle walking on 2 legs. Any ideas? I do not want to mount him on a very big base, just 50x50 would be enough)
