It is about time for me to start doing my water bases and I was trying to decide what would be best.
Although so far I am looking at two the envirotex lite from the brushthralls tutorial or something I saw on a youtube tutorial called magic water.
    anyone have any recommendations

I used Realistic Water for my slann base. But it pours like real water and until it sets up (roughly 24 hours), if it's not contained, it'll just run everywhere.

one plan I had for a test run with water is for my sally base.

I was going to cut a slit straight down the middle of the base then cut some plasticard slightly water then that and super glue it directly under the base. the put down glue down abunch of dirt and rocks on the base and the sally. then finally add water effects to the dip.
hopefully I described that okay hah

Basically like the Brushthralls tutorial, eh? Realistic water should work well for that, then.

Here's how it worked for my Slann base. I didn't do much to the bottom of the pool, just painted it blue and then put the water effects over it.

Nah, it'd take too long to dry. However, my a gloss finish would make them shiny and wet-looking.
