I have inherited, and have been slowly organizing it and personalizing the space. Since I finally played a WHF game after a very long hiatus (with plans for more), I am now incentivized to work on my hobby space much faster.

I'm thinking of getting a fancy chair for my hobby room or is a simple wooden chair actually best for getting work done.

I find that no matter what chair I have painted in, the area you do your hobby in is very important. If the table/desk and lighting is not set up properly I tend to hunch over a bit and end up with neck or back pain if painting for extended periods. I do have a nice comfortable chair, but you can't lean back in it whilst painting. I think you need to be conscious of your posture.
