I'm playing a campaign and one of the players is playing Chaos Dwarves. It'd be nice to know what I'm up against.

It's called the Legion of Azgorh and you'll find it in the Warhammer Forge book Tamurkhan: The Throne of Chaos. Amazing book which also includes variant Chaos and Empire lists.

CD have a pretty good lore, plenty of big war machines and something called the K'daai Destroyer which is immune to S4 and below due to T6 and -1 to wound. Good special magic lore. Solid heavy infantry with good saves and shooty options as you might expect. Plenty of immunity and resilience to fire. Cheap hobo goblin chaff units.

I reckon it's good to make them take I tests with all those war machines and generally low I. Their wizards don't get any I bonuses even on lords so all casters are I2.

Nice to see someone actually knows a little about them. Good post.
