    As per topic,

You only get to select one option, if I've missed something out then just add it in underneath.

As for me I think if I had to pick just one it would be the Salamanders, they've had no decent minis since 5th edition.

(Whish some one would fix the polls)

Well we do have some ugly dinos out there,
Terradaons, and Stegs are prety unrealistic,
Cold Ones could be a lot more Raptor like,
but personaly i would like to see what your
version on a Salamanser would look like. :smug:

I like the models but I think it would be nice if they brought out a dual kit skink set with normal and chameleon ones int it,. Even if it was just heads.

That's a very good idea. The chameleon skink models look tacky in my opinion and it'd be nice to have a plastic option. Currently I am just using regular blowpipe skinks painted chamo style.

From an overall perspective I think the Salamanders need their sails back, but I have six of the old school sallies so I don't care that much.

From a selish motivation, I'd say Stegadons need a revamp the most (since Stegadons are about the only major LM purchase I plan to go for next). I don't like the plastic steggies that much, they look like their bellies would dragon on the ground, their legs are too small.

    Hello,
Terradons, because it is almost impossible to buy them without MO...;/ And they are metal.
Slann because he is Metal and He is quite heavy, and can easilly amage the rod on wich he floats...

I agree with new skinks. You gave us the ability to rank up in our new book, now give us models that will do it too.
As for the dinos, I just wish they were more to scale with everything else on the board. What are we running? Land Before Time dinos?

We tried fixing the polls, but its an incompatibility between the current version of the board and the skin we have. Going to take some work to fix stuff...

Anyway, I thought about this a fair bit. Disagree with stegs needing to be redone, they're a very striking centrepiece. I can see exactly why some people would dislike them (unrealistic proportions) but essentially, it is a very well designed plastic kit (so easy to assemble!) that didn't come out very long ago.

I really want to say saurus characters since our options there aren't very good, but since it is fairly easy to scratch build them and Chakax is a great model to use as one I'm going to have to say that terradons need it the most. The metal models are horrible to assemble and quite overpriced.

I can't stand the current kroxigors, so would love to see some new models there. The skink (that ranks up....) & cammo in one set idea is pretty great as well.

With the current trend of bigger is better, I'd really like to see what a new slann model would look like

I like the Slann and Krox especially. the Chamo's I'm definitely not a fan of - my hack job lazy greenstuff on classic bowskinks are better.

wow, can't believe no one has said the cold ones yet; there's so much hate for them out there.

Seriously, 1 tail direction, 1 body type (correct me if i'm wrong. maybe there's about 3, but if so, they're almost identical), and all heads and necks going the same way??? Awful awful awful! Plus, they do look cartoony. I don't find it that bad, but seriously, they could've done soooo much better. These guys should be a really striking unit to look at.

I dare you to sculpt some, Rikard. I dare you to make them awesome.

Agreed, the LM cold ones are a hideously poor collection of sculpts, I'm amazed and disgusted in equal measure that they ever got approved.

The Dark Elf cold ones however...

Those are a different kettle of fish and not too hard to convert for even a beginner. I've seen it done before for GD pieces and they look plain awesome.

Surely from a design standpoint, it would be fairly easy for GW to copy that design (DE cold ones) for our cold ones as well. Those look 100x better than ours. When I look at ours, I can believe that they are stupid!

I don't consider our cold ones to be a viable option in the army until I've got the cash to buy some DE ones from ebay :p

Lol, I have 16 (of our cold ones) with riders and 3 without riders. I got em as part of other ebay buys as well as a pretty good buy from one of our forum members. I occassionally take them, but do not usually bother unless it is a higher points game (3k+). That way, I can put 3 scar-vets in there to give the unit the punch it needs.

I didn't suggest them because as well as having terrible models, they are pretty crappy in the rules at the moment as well so they really need a full overhall at the next book to give them some use before new models would even be worth it.

Yeah, I guess it's just because they're on my mind after using them in a battle on the weekend, for the first time in ages. I just looked at them and wondered how GW got it so wrong.
