When posting on different threads I am being prompted with the following:
"You cannot make another post so soon after your last."

Is this normal?

Yep, this is implemented to stop SPAMbots filling the forum quickly with crap. There have been a few occasions where some have thrown out 20 threads or more in a matter of minutes, so we use the flood blocker to stop that happening.

There is about a minute allowed between posts, if you are facing the message too much then you probably aren't writing much of a reply anyway. Just wait a few seconds and try again.
