8th Ed. Challenge rules

Hello,

My Scar Vet and and Ogre Bruiser fight a challenge. The Vet puts two wounds on the Bruiser, so they remain.
However, the Temple Guard unit gets wiped out by the Iron Guts. What happens to the characters in the challenge?

The hero was part of the unit, if you fail your LD test (those dead temple guard count) he will run away,
and possibly be caught and killed.

 

[NIGHTBRINGER]

The hero was part of the unit, if you fail your LD test (those dead temple guard count) he will run away,
and possibly be caught and killed.

And if the break test is passed, then the challenge continues in the next combat phase.
