So the game isn't out before Thursday I think, yet a lot of youtubers as already gotten a copy and are demonstrating some of what we are in for with this new addition of the total war series. It seems fun and is properble one of the better TW games, unfortunately it's set in the Old World (For now), so the faction you can play at the moment, as of release, is: Chaos (If you preorder or buy in first week), Dwarves, Vampire Counts, Orcs and Goblins and Empire.

Here's the Link for Creative Assemblies Own Let's Play, but they have link for other Youtubers if you prefer ;)

I don´t think they´ll release lizardmen until a long time from now. They have done the old world, so the most likely expansion to be next is the east (the part that represents Asia) and then the south (Africa). And once they got the chuck that represents that they´ll go onto lustria and naggaroth.
That´s what I think would make sense, anyways o_O

Well that's one way to do it, BUT they have got both Dark elves and Lizards in the new world, where Asia really only got Ogres, Africa would only bring Tomb Kings (Plus Total war do like to bring in the new world early in their expansion). Call me optimistic, but I don't think we are that far down in their pecking order of factions ;)

"Africa" has the southlands Lizardmen...

just maybe? hmmm

My boyfriend is trying to persuade me to buy just so he can beat my rear at it :(

I wonder a way of Vampire Counts beating Dwarves.
Only Vampires Counts appeal to me at the moment.

I don't really have any specific appeals, would still like to try the game, though. I'm leaning to an orc walk through, that could be fun; choas seems, well interesting and dwarves would probably be fun, too :) Not really that into Empire or for that matter the undead... :P But I guess they could be something to look into once the lizardmen campaign (When they released) gets boring... who am I kidding, that would never happen :D

Welp, my boyfriend is off playing the game (I wonder if he got by the first bit, the dreaded waiting game) still waiting on mine to download, 9.4GB in total

It's pretty good, I'm on turn 32 and it's starting to get hard to keep the economy going.

Is that as dwarves? :)

Yeah, still getting the hang of things but you need to attack and raise and loot some settlements to keep the cash up, one thing I noticed that might get patched pretty soon.

If you raise and loot a settlement don't occupy it, the original hosts will return and repair all the buildings then you just raise and loot again.

Thing with the greenskins they need to keep attacking to keep the economy going but they have cheap units and up keep.

They want to make it a trilogy. I reckon that elves (Dark & High) will be the next races to get love. If there's a geographical focus on Naggaroth/Ulthuan for the campaign then I reckon they could easily extend that to Lustria. Skaven gets my vote for the potential third party. They're the obvious enemy for Lizardmen, so that and the potential geographical setting for the New World in the next game makes me hopeful.

This is just my bias talking though. It could easily be Ogre Kingdoms, Tomb Kings, Skaven, and Wood Elves. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

If they went for Ulthuan and Naggaroth, why not also use Lustria
