    Hello there brothers seraphon !

I was wondering if you prefer (when you have the possibility) to take the 1st turn or to let it to your adverser ?

It depends on the army you are playing against. Deep striking armies or magic-heavy ones should not get the first turn so you can damage their stuff a bit, if you have something to do that like Kroak or so.

When I play against Ironjawz for example I usually give them the first turn so they can spread and get in range a bit. I shoot them and then try for the double turn.

I play a little like that.

When I have the choice, I look if my opponent can deal some damages if I let him start.
And for the moment, it's almost all the time no the case.
So I was wondering if in any case, there are some benefit to go first if the opponent can deal nothing in is 1st turn.

If you deploy an army that can deal deep strike damage on the first turn, for example you have Lord Kroak and want to snipe a hero before he can buff his units etc

Against slow armies with maybe long shooting but low movement, then it's almost always better to let them go first.
