I’ve just had a look and you’re right - the SC for Fyreslayers is only £38, much cheaper - that would certainly make starting an army much less painful for my wallet.

Just had a look at stuff that's available and I have a hit list.

Weirdnob warband x2 £61.98
SC Ironjawz £38
Megaboss £18.50

So for £118.48 I would have the following

2 Weirdnobs
20 Ardboys
10 Brutes
3 Gore Gruntas
1 Megaboss

Later purchase another SC box and a Cabbage

I will eventually, I'm not that keen on the model but I reckon it can be converted.

Same here. I really like its burly look. Finally a dragon that doesn't look like it is going to break apart any moment.

I just went with a full array of Gutbusters when I decided that I wanted to run a Destruction
army. Beastclaw Raiders are more competitively viable most likely, and are going to be getting more models I imagine, but they still can’t beat an old school footslogging ogre army for me. And now that he’s not a character and got an update, my Greasus Goldtooth model is actually pretty viable now, which is nice. Butchers are pretty great as well, with the free Cauldron. As far as the Maw Krusha goes, I’d probably just take a boss on a Wyvern and call it a Maw Krusha.

That's not a bad idea as I love that old model, I thought about getting Ironhide again and calling him a Megaboss, such a cool model.

I would personally love to get some of the savage dudes. I am more interested in the 40k ork version currently, but if I could figure out a way to run some savage orks into the list and use them for both that would be perfect. And Lustria themed!

So I'm pondering again, lava bases as I have not done them before but what clan shall the Ironjawz belong too?

Now I was thinking there soul purpose is to track down Seraphon for a right good rumble so names and colour schemes needed guys.

Hint: Megaboss will not have a animal skull on his shoulder but maybe an Oldbloods head/ Stegadon skull?
