Hi guys!

Pretty new to the forum but I want to share with you my painted miniatures. I hope I can update the post on a regular basis. I am currently rebasing my army for Age of Sigmar, plus I think they look cooler on round bases :)

Yeah it basically means you paint something that looks like metal, but you don't use metal colors for it. You paint that effect on using regular colors.

Really great work, lots of detail :artist:

I also dig the bamboo for the javelins

Gr, Imrahil

Scrofulous Brown and tank brown, also white :p Sorry for the late reply.

Thanks for the comments guys :) Picture of ten more skinks!!

Excellent unit, the shields are nicely done and provide a warm contrast to the cold blue, the plastic plants look like plastic, a bit too shiny for me, I would matt lacquer them, but that's just me.

Excellent stuff ;)

Very good, loving the shades and details.
How many skink have/are you doing ? I think someone will get cramp in their hand :)

A lot of them... I have to rebase 30 from square to round bases that also need my new scale color scheme... And 50 more to rebase and paint (only base coats, shadows and first highlights are done). But I will focus in other stuff first to play my 500p army list :)

@Crowsfoot , yes you are right! Plants are too shiny. I usually spray purity seal over my minis so probably that will work. If not, I will try some inking and purity sealing again :)

Love the jungle theme bases and scales on the back/shields are impressive
