Hi All,

Occasionally i am roaming the web (mostly ebay) for new models or bits.
And there is a lot of good stuff on it.

As some of you may know, I live in the Netherlands, this results in some problems. Unfortunately a lot of the lots on Ebay only send there stuff within the UK.
I'd like to bid on some of the stuff, but i can't.

Is there someone of our UK based Lustrians who would like to take the bidding for me and will take the troubled of sending it to the Netherlands afterwards?

Another option is to use a freight forwarder.

I have not used one from UK before, only from US so I am not sure which provider is best.

When doing a search this one pop up https://www.forward2me.com/how-it-works/ so you could check it out.

Basically, a freight forwarder, will receive your packages, allow you to store them for a set time, before consolidating the packages into one package for shipping.

Thanks a lot for thinking along.
I had no idea such a thing existed

I will look into this

I've always had friends in the UK who could pick up and ship to me. I know some of my buddies in Australia use frieght forwarding though.

When I sell on ebay I always have the international shipping enabled, do the listings give a postage cost? if so they are shipped by ebay.

I live in the UK and almost everything I have sold goes abroad, I just ship it to an address in the UK and ebay does the rest.

Contact the buyers, they may ship to Europe if asked.

The main issue for us outside UK (or US) is that the international shipping tends to be pretty high on ebay.

If you have a freight forward account, that allows you to get the cheap domestic shipping, and most importantly allow you to collect multiple shipments there, before consolidating them into one shipment to save shipping fee.

I made an account already... first bids on ebay are closing tonight ;)

that is a huge benefit indeed

Just got my ebay wins in today ;)
it worked perfectly fine, thanks for all the help.

(it is a Stegadon on Sprue and a lot of spare bits from a Stegadon and i think a Startersbox)
