What are you doing today hobbywise?

My hobby time nowadays consists of wondering on what scenery to build and what models to paint when my hobby space is back in place.

Last week we got a planning estimate on the flooring for the attic.... It will be in the end of August. So my hobbying for the coming 3 months will be writing and drawing out ideas to work on when my hobby space is restored.

Grrr, !mrahil
I redid my hobby space a few months ago. Much more room now and a cathartic cleansing of stuff. My pile of shame was bigger than I remember. It meant I was offline for hobbying for a couple of months and then it took me another month to get back into it. Slowly but surely.
I hope yours goes well and you get back into the painting side quicker than I did. At least you've plenty of time to come up with some nice ideas. Looking forward to seeing some when they come to fruition.
;)

Went to the local pet shop to buy my cats some new collars.
Found this bad boy in the aquarium section.
I now have a treeman ancient for my wood elves.
Elf archer for scale. He's a BIG tree.

Pet stores are a good source for wargaming terrain... Pretty sure this is an Orruk idol. Pet store had it on sale for $25 :woot:

Not wargaming related...

Working on some model railroad stuff at the moment. all4toys on ebay sells these kits, $16 for 2, scaled for HOn30, but they work for On18 which is what I'm modeling. I added the buffer beams using a scrapbook punch and .020" plastic sheet, layered and glued. I'll use short lengths of heavy hobby chain as "couplers." Just need to decide what colors to paint it. 3d printed except for the scribed/lasercut wooden 'deck.'

I did nothing on Saturday, as I slept in and then had housework before going to dinner with my fiance.

Sunday evening should see 5 Ogryn/ brutes with shields and mauls completed.

yesterday was my spwaning and my in-laws surprised me with the War of the Rohirrim Battle of Edoras set :) :)
So lots of hobby material to get to... when the attic is finished. Extra motivational fuel to make it happen.

I love building so that sounds like a double blessing. Happy spawning!

Starting snow terrain for Pulp Alley and for when we use my friends Valhallan IG. They are nice but now that I see them on the field I know I need a bunch more. Lots of snow drifts, no rock formations on the rest. Sorry for double post.
