Oh boy. This is much more of a nail-biter than I would have thought (or hoped). Extra time next. :eek:
 
It blows my mind that England invented rugby and soccer. Two sports that cannot be more different when it comes to tolerance for violence.

Thank the (Chaos) gods. My poor little Dawi-Zharr heart couldn't take much more of that. Cabo Verde is the T-1000 of Football teams. They just kept coming and coming.

Funny thing is I have a friendly bet going with someone I know. In order for me to win, I need Canada to lose to either Morocco or the winner of the France/Paraguay . For my friend to win, he needs Canada to win both of those games.

The stakes may be relatively low, but I want the victory. I feel pretty safe in my position.

That Mexico v England game was crazy, but more importantly Haaland!! Norway get past the mighty Brazil. Damn that was a great day of games.
