More details like making bones properly would improve it much but gj.

If its your very first mini then I must say you did a good job, but I think the colour scheme is wrong... I dont think it fits well.
I used asurmen blue , badad black and devlan mud.... pretty much the same ones that are used on GW tutorials but following different steps
You did a good job but maybe those pink shields dont fit very well.

Go for skirmishers all the way.... I was at the same point of you a month ago or so and trust me, they are miles better and can be way more useful.
