Dear all I had played Lizardmen since 7th and paused untill now. And I'm planning to comeback to my Lizard army. I already have Slann ,20xGuards , 20xWarriors, 8xKnights, 8xSkinks So I decide to build my army base on Eternity Starhost And add Thunderquake starhost to the list to filling points So I've got the list here Leader 1 Slann 1 Eternity warden 1 Engine of the god Unit 5 Saurus guard 5 Saurus guard 5 Saurus guard 10 Skinks 10 Skinks 1 Salamander 3 Skink handlers 1 Bastiladon 1 Bastiladon 1 Eternal starhost 1 Thunderquake starhost 2000/2000 pts My plan is to use Bastiladon EoTG Slann Salamander to deal damage in range While Skinks and Guards hold enemy frontline as long as possible by Skinks wary & 2+Guard save Now it's just a plan and I don't have any experience in real game Is it good? Any advice? Thank you
Hello there and welcome back veteran ! Well it is not a bad list but you will have some match ups with hands down : the newest upgrades are full of mortal wounds so your warriors will vanish. Other than that, seems like a fun list but if you 're gonna play scenarios you will probably have issues because most of the scenarios need "more models than your opponent within X inches " and you 'll be outnumbered. Nevertheless this list is far from being weak and you will definitely have fun playing it !
This is a good army and will be fun to play, I think that the eternal is a bit less needed here with the thunderquake, I might go something like Leaders Engine of the Gods (240) Slann Starmaster (260) Saurus Astrolith Bearer (160) Battleline 30 x Skinks (240) - Boltspitters & Star Bucklers 10 x Skinks (80) - Boltspitters & Star Bucklers 10 x Saurus Warriors (100) - Clubs Units 1 x Salamanders (60) 3 x Skink Handlers (40) Behemoths Bastiladon (300) Bastiladon (300) Battalions Thunderquake Starhost (120) Scenery Balewind Vortex (100) Total: 2000/2000 The balewind protects the slann, you have more models, some nore shooting, and the skinks provide chaff for your monsters to charge. The planted astrolith helps your spells and re-roll failed hit rolls. Will definitely help your shooting.
