40k rules changes

I haven't played 40k since 2nd edition and was wondering if anyone played then and knows how the rules have changed since me and my group at the time didn't like the lack of customization that came with third edition and were wondering if it was worth picking up the new edition

i've played since the end of 4ed, a.i not very long. but i think it could be worth picking up the new edition since you can run, again.

ther's also some other rules that cleared up a bit, and the troops have come out in the sun!
