I think I know what it is - do I spoil it or should it remain a secret until the big reveal? Whatever happens, if the pictures so far are anything to go by, it’s going to end up looking absolutely amazing!
 
It isn't too secret, I will post a pic of the whole model tonight. So if you think you know what it is, feel free to post it and you will receive not one, not two, but three smiling emotes!!! :D

My good buddy @Mesandres visited the UK last year and of course he went to Nottingham. When he returned he brought me this cool model! :)

I wish it wasn't resin, then I could paint it more nicely. Unfortunately there was some warping in places that I could not fix. One of the eyes for example. But if you don't look too close he looks pretty cool.

Here he is. Still WIP but almost there.

More WIP.
I decided to take the risk and do some edge highlighting.
I think it did improve the look of the model.
I also tried to fix the eye a bit using a scalpel and some shade. Slightly better now. I'll probably leave it that way as I fear I might make it worse.

Bugman has turned out great!
 
Painted a Blood Bowl human today.
Nothing fancy. I originally wanted to speed paint those guys but I just cannot.
I did cut a few corners there, though.
Only very few highlights, and I avoided the flesh parts by just painting them blue like the cloth.
I'll just pretend that the players are wearing some of those really thin and tight sitting shirts that football players wear, just to save some time.

Looks good, i've been considering doing the skin tight fabric cloths on some of my own project. Just needs some turf to play on and some team mates to watch his back.
 
Which paint was used on the turquoise shoulder pad? Is it Akhelian or Terradon? Or is it a mix of Ork & Talassar?
