AoS Second Edition

The only thing I’m interested in here is the Hippogryph (not the Stormcast on it mind) and mainly because it would make a great plastic Hippogryph for Bretonnians. Perhaps @Warden could replace the Stormcast with a spare Bretonnian knight to make an updated Bretonnian Duke on Hippogryph model?

In fact you could use those Vanguard Palladors as the basis of Bretonnian Hippogryph Knights to give them some Monstrous Cavalry! :joyful:

Another of my Warhammer conversion ideas that will probably never come to pass...

Why am I not surprised that this would happen?

Look at the trouble you’ve caused @Lord-Marcus! :p

I must apologize, all that SCE stuff turned my stomach a bit. I have recomposed myself (for now). :D

Not all SCE are bad. For example, the Lord Ordinator (the one with the beard in malign portents) would be a good conversion for a hero of the Empire. :p

ALL SCE are bad. If I were the emperor of the world I would have them all outlawed and melted down. Owning one would be a capital offence. :D

So I have bad news for you. They are single army-ly providing the funds for my upgrade to my gaming computer

And, more importantly, the Dispossessed faction focus is out!

I’m really hoping that Dispossessed will get a tome in the new edition as well as being given all their artillery back - it’s one of the very few things that would change my mind from going full-on Fyreslayers as I would be able to spend much less money as I could use my existing Dwarf army (although I probably would still buy a Fyreslayers start collecting box to have a Magmadroth ally).

So... it seems dispossessed will have just points reduction and ironbreakers as battleline. Wow.

Irondrakes not Ironbreakers.

Also they have Runesmiths with 30” unbind which is great for any Dwarf army in AoS.

Nope, it's ironbreakers.
30" unbind is not a dawi-related thing. Unbind will be 30" for all armies, so it's NOT a new buff for dispossessed, but a general rule; it may be more useful for dispossessed than for other armies, but it's still a general change.
The only specific cookie given to dispossessed is (it seems) a change of role for a single unit.

I’ve just checked and you’re right it is Ironbreakers. My bad.

You know, in the transformers fandom we have a term for people like you:
https://tfwiki.net/wiki/True_fan

Wow, that’s a burn if I ever saw one. ;) How does @NIGHTBRINGER respond to this challenge to his authority?

And double wow, the Transformers Wiki is so much more informal than others like Wookieepedia, it’s close to being 1d4chan-esque in terms of informality, except without the swearing.

Still +2 on dispell at 30" is nice. Im wondering hoe efficient magic will be with these changes

to be honest this is starting to worry me. at 30" you cover most of the board. And since most wizards only cast 1 spell it's very easy to end up in a situation where each cast is faced with an unbind-attempt, which seems harsh especially as dedicated unbinders like the runesmith get bonusses. Or just imagine trying to field a wizard against nagash, it'd basicly be pointless if he gets a 30" range.

...especially considering that most wizards don't do nothing except casting that single spell. ..
