Hey guys, I don't know if there's already a thread on this topic about this, but have you seen today GW's Facebook page? https://m.facebook.com/home.php?_rd...769958188&substory_index=0&id=452117934985005 They refer to some sort of revolution in AoS gaming! And this scares me a bit... XD I'm not sure if the link will work cause I'm using my smartphone... What do you think they refer to?
Points system? 40k end times? The teenzch silver tower? A miracle has occurred and all the discontinued kits come back to life? More sigmarines/chaos? Huge new monster, like those of the godbeasts book? Prices decrease, as they finally realized that selling an or(ru)k infantry character for 35€ is out of orbit? No more AoS and Fantasy comes back, and therefore all the old kits? please the last one, please the last one, please the last one... Edit: in the comments, they say it might be the official FAQs release? I don´t see why this would be the best day since AoS´s launch, but it actually makes sense Edit 2: Also, maybe they release sigmar himself? That´d be pretty iconic, being the game called as it is...
The way it's worded I don't think it's going to be a points system. Seams a bit odd to have this big reveal just for that. Maybe it's a big "god" type model for each army with new special game rules similar to end times. kind of like how chaos has Archaon.
But that´d mean a new release (which usually happens on saturday), and this thing will happen on monday. I don´t know though
Last week they effectively posted an FAQ draft, but I don't think tomorrow we will see only that... @Phoedinn has heard an interesting rumor: I'll copy what you've written, ok Phoed? "There is an interesting theory on facebook that says they may be moving to a M:tG style point system. With that the PLAYER would have a "points value" that they acquire from games and similarly skilled players will be matched for games"
Well, we have confirmation that its NOT the FAQ release at least https://m.facebook.com/comment/repl...ntifier=469052769958188&gfid=AQB1P1U8qB7iWNM_
And here is the points system post: https://m.facebook.com/comment/repl...ntifier=469052769958188&gfid=AQDDwp789HdX5TMF make if it what you will, but I think he brings up some good points as to why it might be the case.
