Like the flyer. Also from schleich? I use the baby crocodile as a salamander... Fits quite well though it's not that much detail on it.

Hi, I really like these models... Expecially the Slann on Stegooo!!! I would change the palanquin making it more threatening... Perhaps with horns ( as the model... ). I Would be enjoyed to color all these dinosaur with strange color... maybe red with black or green streaks...
I love these converted models, probably one day I'll make one...

Cheers nightbringer. I agree, all of them still need detail added, I like the idea of ankle bracelets, will have a play around with that idea next couple of days.

Thanks tom- the flyers from papo I believe- will be adding much more to him over the next week, will add a rider aswell.

Thanks Doctor- agree with you on that, will be looking to add more spikes, some icons, seems a bit plain to me at the moment.

I've got a few ideas for colour schemes, just need your opinions- now how do you set up a poll?

Create new thread, the poll option is about 1/2 way down the page

Thank you crowsfoot will give a poll a go next couple of days to help decide on colours.

Cheers Scoub, I'm already a big fan of the current carnosuar model but I've seen a few toys I'm thinking of converting.

A bit smaller than the other two posted but really like this dilophosaurus

Opinions on which people think is best would be greatly appreciated. I personnally am leaning towards the mono as it's about the right size. So what do people think? :)

I looked at the dilohosaurus yesterday and thought it would make a great scar vet mount, will be getting one shortly and he gets my vote.

Mine too. I like the predator look of it. Like he's preparing to attack.

These are absolutely fantastic! I love the Slann on a dino (is it a Kentosaurus?) and the para on all fours. I'd really love to see an engin of the gods on a sauropod like some of the old Arcanodon conversions that floated around years back.

Keep up the good work! You've inspired me.

Thanks Fhanados, yes the slann dino is a kentrosaurus, smaller cousin of the stego. I've got an idea for an engine of the gods, but first need to finish this lot.

So while waiting for some bits and (quite) a few skinks I thought i'd focus on trying to come up with a colour scheme for the army. Now what I'm thinking is for the bigger guys, the dinos, to be very earthy colours, browns, bieges, and then the skinks on them to be colourful to give a contrast.

    Some ideas for the skinks:

    blue yellow common collard lizard.JPG
Blue body with yellow tail- I like this one a lot, might consider yellow feet and hands as well.

    ugyugyu.jpg
Pink head and back, blue belly and tail.

    hgvuhiojioj.jpg
A blend from green to light blue to dark blue.

    iguana_in_indonesia_by_koning_maarten-d3b0pbo.jpg

    Orange body with white head.

    6a00d834528b3269e20120a6a5b8d5970c-500wi.jpg
Black body and head with orange stripes, blue tail.

    Calotes calotes.jpg
This one a leaning to the most, green body with red head, possibly white stripes on body, not sure.

Anyways, thoughts and opinions would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi!
Pink and blue or the red head version would be very cool I think. Would like to try them my self but will have to improve my skills before.

    So just a little update.

Got the base for a head mask for the stegadon/parasauralophus (sauralophadon :) ) , will add rope or something so it looks like its fitted rather than just sitting on the face.

Take a look- what do you think?

    20150901_120756.jpg

Also my mate has decided to take the warhammer/AoS plunge after getting lost in the abyss that is 40k, so i've started making some Estalians to fight my lizardmen. Going to make a big block of pikemen to start. Here's the first few.

Very nice work on the sauralophadon, it's looking better and better all the time!

What did you make the pikes from?

Thanks! Think I will add a further spike lower down the crest as well.

The pikes were from ebay, drilled through the hand, up close they look a bit untidy, found it tricky to drill through straight, but I think they'll look good as a block.

I like that idea; it will look really good.

Just use a mini file and perhaps a little green stuff and you can make it look completely seamless. The pikes look good... and sharp/pointy!
