Based on discussions here, I'm using SeBM's idea and putting together another painting challenge, this one for a Character (Lizardmen or otherwise) due to start on Good Friday (22nd April) and running for a month. Basically all you have to do, nominate which character you'll be working on, upload a photo of it before painting, progress pics if you like, and a photo when it's done! Winner will be voted on by the entrants themselves. If there's enough interest we may split the characters into categories. So you've got 3 weeks to plan and purchase your character before the gun! 49.
I'll be participating, especially since I proposed that idea . I suggest we keep all the work and the pictures secret until the day the contest end. If we want to work it that way, we'll have to nominate a contest organizer which won't be able to participate. If we decide to go that way, I would be willing to sacrifice my participation for this contest to make sure things run smoothly. If we work that way, I also suggest that pictures be posted by the organizer and that each character and his painter remain anonymous until the results are in .
True, you did - edited original post to give credit where credit is due Organiser sounds like a sucky job though TBH - they'd have to get the competition entries emailed to them, then upload and post them all. Depending on the amount of interest, could be a hell of a lot of work. If you're willing though, more power to you 49.

hmm... atm I dont have any unpainted lizardmen char. is it ok with a dark elf sorceress?? this far, i haven´t succesfully posted a picture in a reply, but is it ok with links? othervise, anyone who can explain more precisely how it´s done? so just for fun, sign me in!
I would definitely accept such an entry N810. As for the DE sorceress, no problem, it's a painting challenge, not a Lizardmen painting challenge. As long as it's some sort of character, I say you can bring it!!!

Yeah officially we don't start until then. That doesn't mean we won't accept this entry but until then, please don't post your finished stuff... We'll have an official start thread soon.
bad news guys, I dont have any characters/ schampions at all atm!! maybe I´l manage to get my hands on a sorceress, but I´m worried... what should i do??
well that was my first thought, but then i will have too many chars. but a unit champ for DE corsairs?? i know thats not much but that´s all i might have until the 22th however, i look forward to this.
