    Showcase your Dread Saurian here!

Whether it's official or a conversion it's welcome here. Also you can include a smaller mini to establish scale if you wish.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Please only post images of completed models. In the event you have a WIP thread on the model, please post the link to it as well.

Note: If you want to post a WIP (Work In Progress) image, please start a thread in the main forum for this and then post an image here when you have completed the model.

Here u have a comparison pic with saurus, a cold one and the oldblood saurus from the troglodon kit.
And no, it doesn't come with a base. I made it myself out of wood, I asked my community players if that base size was fine and they all agreed. The head and tail come out, but same happens with many of GW´s kits.

Holy moly thats big it doesn`t even need a base if it is that big.
P.S. can you actually battle with them in the new seraphon scheme?

That would be so cool that would be a brilliant comparison picture.
The size comparison would be different on what the basi has on its back>

Yes it is expensive, but I think it's worth it (I did actually get it for 130 pounds). The resin is great, though and with such a high quality and amou t of details.
Ruleswise, I dont think they relesed rules for seraphon, but there are for 8th and it is actually quite OK, not too good. Although the fact that you can make it ethereal for 75 pts extra (its 450 by itself) makes it a killing machine against monsters (it has a bite attack with heroic killing blow at S8 or 7). It has a pretty good characteristic profile, except the initiative 3.
I made the base just for commodity during close combat.
Right now it doesnt allow me to post the picture, I'l see what I can do about it.

I have converted a Papo dragon model to act as a Dread Saurian - I can't afford £140 - Got the inspiration from a fellow forum member, apologies, I cant remember who you are!

For size comparism purposes, the model is standing on an A4 piece of paper, looking forward to doing its base!!

I really love what people are planning on doing for the dread saurians. Me, I am thinking of coughing up the money for the full model though, I am so in love with the sculpt, haven't seen anything else quite like it before.

I saw one in the cabinet at Forge world and it is massive but the joints were terrible but we then went round the exhibition and they have one painted up and it looked really good.
