Fan Expo is currently taking place in Toronto, Canada (think of it as our version of Comic-con). As I was making my way through the various booths I came across this...

I heard rumours of GW attending conventions, but I was still a bit surprised to see it in person. Too bad they never put forth this level of effort for Warhammer Fantasy... it might have been alive and kicking today if they had. Damn you GW!!! :rage::rage::rage:

Play 8th and if you want a easy game with beer play AOS, @NIGHTBRINGER the chaos models are gorgeous they assemble easy with hardly any flash lines and loads of detail, you would like them.

I'm gonna paint one for you

I'm gonna paint one for you

I hate AoS too and thus you should also paint me one :p

I'm honestly not against AoS, and it's nice to see GW putting in an effort to attract people to the hobby, but I agree with the comment on their marketing for previous editions. Silly GW.

Seeing this makes me think if they will pop up at the MCM London Expo this October. I know I see ForgeWorld and their tiny table when I go.
But then seeing such company makes me want to poke questions at them, I do that a lot.

They are extremely finely detailed. GW's models are usually the best of the best and the AoS box set is admittedly a great deal. AoS is just not my type of game, they've stripped away most of what I really enjoyed in 8th edition.

Will you give it a top hat? ;)

I might just do that

I've really got the bug, 25 blood warriors, 40 bloodreavers, 2 exalted deathbringers, chaos lord on manticore and the heros from the starter sets!

I'm going to warhammer world in October so will add more to this growing Chaos band then

Time to sprinkle some Tzeentch or Slaanesh in there!

I agree, although it may be some time coming since Slaanesh has somehow been captured.

Knowing Slaanesh, being captured could be all part of his/her/its plan since Slaanesh is the only one of the Chaos gods who wouldn't see it as a set back and would probably get some satisfaction in this scenario. Not that GW would every write that into the new fluff :p

That's pretty cool. Can Australia have its Games Day back now?

Is the Sigmar button larger?

I got a chance to see the Siggy and Khorney dice buckets today—in person. The Siggy dice bucket is larger.
