This is a fun (albiet scary to some!) topic that is up and running in the O&G forums, Da Warpath, and thought I'd bring it to life here.

I really had no idea when I saw the original thread, but decided to run a list and add it up in the thread. Feel free to do that too, or simply state it however you want. This thread is in no means meant to be a competition, nor bragging rights, but just another way for us hobbyist to relate.

Almost all of my purchases were from EBay while a couple others were from Craigslist.

So... that's about $1,112.87 USD though I think Im missing a few. These are all mostly EBay bids. I'm sorry for some of the titles the way they are as it was much easier for me to copy and paste. Please note that this does NOT include any of the shipping prices.

The Wood Elf army and Ogre Kingdom Army were all purchased off of Craigslist. The Ogre Kingdom box had 2 full armies in it! Not to mention 2 more boxes of bulls, 2 maneaters, 1 butcher, 1 hunter with lions and another box of Ironguts. Not bad.

I don't think I'm done yet either as I have 31 more auctions Im monitoring on Ebay currently. I am, as some might say, a Warhammer Fanatic. lol.

Wow thats a hell of a lot! I would struggle to remember I think... Especially narrowing it to just this year.

I know my GW purchases have been rather thin due to all their screw-customers policies. I have bought Dreadfleet, one of the SoM terrain sets, box of saurus, box of skinks, couple of heroes, and the Witchfate Tor scenery piece. I think that may be it.

However, from other manufacturers, I have bought a bunch of Knight Models Star Wars figures, some Banelords from Maelstrom, Super Dungeon Explore from SodaPop Minis, a Mantic Orc army. Hmm that may be it.

So all up, maybe $600 AUD? Not really a lot considering I have had the disposable income to almost spend that in a fortnight if I wanted to.

I should, but REALLY don't want to keep track of how much i spend on warhammer!

This year for lizardmen alone I got:

40+ saurus
80+ skinks
1x Slann
1x metal lord on carnosaur
2x stegadons
20x temple guard
3 models i'm using for Krozigors
12 chameleon skinks
2 salamanders
1 cerebus (modifying for a razordon)


Fortunately, about 1/2 the saurus and 1/2 the skinks were in 1 discount deal

Skaven only got a screaming bell

Empire I bought a unit of outriders and a unit of the new flagellants

VC and Chaos - all they've gotten is a fine layer of dust

Oh and my HE/skaven split a starter box

Aside from that, 3 or 4 rulebooks, Battle for blood book and 2 of the terrain pieces for winds of magic

On the bright side, I sold 3000 points of Tau to make up for a wee bit of the expense

I have actually calmed down some this year. My first year was 2010 (around February). This year, I have not really tracked it, but i think it comes out to:

Lizardmen: $200 or so for various things (I have well over 5k of Lizardmen)
VC: $165 (right about 3500-4000 pts)
Imperial Guard (gift for son): $80 (1 chimera and about 40 troops plus some special characters and 2 heavy weapon units)

That is about it. In 2010 though, I bet the amount will range closer to about 4 or 5 thousand bucks.
