I just bought this off eBaY, opinions?

I got the above army for £200.

I calculated the cheapest I could buy the models brand new from retailers, it came out as £279.

What are your opinions on this purchase? I was wary of buying so many Temple Guard and the slann. With the slann leaving next edition that's a wasted buy and the TG without slann = sucky soooooooo

Haha, that always happens when you just bought something on ebay (or any other second hand site), there always will come a better one.
Still i dont Think the deal you got is very bad.

I bought 90% of my models of ebay and as I don't game (yet) they were all bought to paint and convert, from that aspect you got a bargain,with the models you don't use for gaming paint them and then sell on or sell unpainted you will recoup some cash for further investment.

I'm looking at getting some vampire counts on ebay and it is a waiting game..........

Yeah I should probably just be happy with what I got, overall it wasn't a BAD deal for me, it could have been better, or worse.

The issue I'm finding with Ebay is that people sell based on Games Workshop prices, there's a small retailer called triple helix that offer 25% off GW prices, I've bought loads off stuff of them for a fraction of the RRP. One reason I liked the ebay listing I purchased was that they were only base coated, it would allow me to paint my own color scheme for everything
