I like the green tone your using on all your Shink & Saurus models and the detail of different colors look really good on the Saurus BSB. The Slann is really impressive! Nice way of painting him and the area on his head. The palanquin is painted very good too and along with the rocks used for the base! Job well done! The Stegadon EoTG looks crazy-cool and a little weird the way you placed the engine on the howdah! Good work on the steg overall, but the custom staff for the Skink Priest is a little long IMHO, compared to the small size of the skink priest. I think anyway of shorting it and still using the top part (piece) of the staff would look better. Just a thought? Keep it up, your doing great.
Well, it has been a long time since I had progress to report on painting my army. Life gets busy and the painting gets put on the back burner sometimes. I did finally finish my Temple Guard unit. There are 20 of them here. I got another Battalion Box Set so now I have assembled and have 10 more TG to paint, along with 20 Saurus and 12 Skinks. I have not assembled the Cold Ones yet. I already have 16 of them to paint.
While I was painting my Temple Guard, I also got a box of Terradons. I have painted them to match my army. I am still up in the air about adding some kind of design on the wings. What do you think?
Looking cool there. I always found lizardmen should be green and not blue. Really like the terradons. Cheers
It has been awhile since I actually finished painting any models. I have a few in process now. But I did finish up my Bastilodon!! As you may remember, I was not happy with the model as I received it because of incomplete molding of the armor plates (see below). So I added two applications of green stuff to fill in the holes, and then added the base coat. [pic] After the work of patching and base coating was finished, the real fun began. In keeping with my theme of a Host of Tzunki, Here is my finished Bastilodon!
Your green stuff-ing worked out perfectly. Nice job dude! However in future if you get a mis-molded sprue your local GW staff are usually pretty cool about replacing the kit. I had some duff ogres once and my local's manager just swapped them for new. Anyway, I look forward to seeing more of this army!
