Lizardmen Civilwar idea

Hello, With the new rulebook coming out soon i plan on doin not one but two Lizardmen Arnies, wanna do some civilwar based armies inspierd by a article in white Dwarf some years ago.

What i can recall is that there have been some civil war among them and i plan on basing it this scenario: One Spawning of lizardmen with a slann has decieid to make Sotek the only god that shall be worshipped. This has led to a rebellion, even so far that they have summoned the demons of chaos as aid. The others clans move to stop the mad slann and his followers.

Thsi would probalby never happend since Lizardmen are united in a high degree.

Are there any links etc. to the WD Civil War rules online? I've searched but haven't as yet found anything concerning Lizard rules.

The only part I seem to remember is a 'feather war', can't remember what that entails other than being 'non'deadly'.

Your concept is interesting although, as you said, somewhat of a contrast to the fluff. Still, it's not exaclty official is it so I dosen't matter, espeically if your Slann is 'mad' plus, chaos deamons allying with their staunchest opponents? As Mr.Ward likes to point out: 'chaos is fickle!'

i also tried to fin the rules but i didn fand any and alas, dont have that issue either.

Thanks my friend gave me the idea so thought on working on it. THis basicly a friend between game that i plan

The current book has some fluff about what Oldbloods do when the slaan aren't around to tell them what to do.
They take turns hitting each other with a big club. The gods choose the correct course of action by allowing the incorrect oldblood to be knocked senseless by the strike.

With how long it takes for slaan to interpret the will of the old ones, it's entirely possible that you get different readings. This could set lizardmen against each other until the interpretation is resolved.
