Hello everyone. While looking for some insignts into miniature concept art, and miniature development in general, I stumbled upon a series of concept designes form 2004 for Lizardmen models. https://funnyjunk.com/channel/----in-warhammer/Lizardmen+concept+art/dechLqr/ Are you familiar with these drawings? Who is the author? They don't look fake to me, but I am not familiar with miniature concept art so I don't know how to tell. Does anybody have some more?
I guess it's to give the models some savagery and character. I bet our beloved lizards love adorning themselves with skulls in order to frighten their enemies (whether it be human raiders or any other enemy). They certainly do succeed in that, but it can get tiresome when almost every single model has them, and so the skulls lose their desired effect imo
