Lizardmen temple

I am thinking of making an old Lizardmen temple but I don’t rely know where to start has any one made this sort of thing before of know how to do it. Plus does anyone know where I can find some good inspiration for designs.

I have been researching mayan, aztec, ond other Mesoamericains.
the ones you will see everywhere are the temples at Teotihuacan, Tikal, and Chichen Itza.
Probaly because they are the most pyramid like.

Or you could build it from foam and plaster.

I've often pictured hidden Temple-Cities looking a bit like this with a pyramid-like temple in the middle.
