I would go with the second set of Brushes. I like their ferrule better.

image.jpg I just got my order of drakespawn knights. I’m going to remove the riders and convert the drakes to razordons. Lol I’m just waiting on my green stuff. Plus I can 3d print them new bases. I will say that the drakespawn knights are cool looking.

Yes they are. I have considered more than once putting all my Saurus Knights on the Aelf Cold Ones. Sadly the aesthetics are a bit contradictory.

Yeah lol drakespawn look epic. I got this set of drakespawn for cheap (around 20 bucks) and then I’m buying green stuff for 20. So the overall cost is 40 dollars but I’m getting 5 razordons lol. My friends won’t like me lol.

I think they work better with the previous edition saurus riders, the metal ones. They seem to scale better and have more dynamic poses.

Depends how they were affixed. If it is a glue they should pop off with some force. If they are plastic welded then you will have to cut them off.

I think they are superglued on. Their legs and stuff are loose so I think it’s their butts which I hard to get off because I don’t want to break them. They look cool lol. And darn they are spikes lol it hurts my fingers.

If it's superglue stick them in the freezer over night they should come off quite easily.

I got the riders all off. 4 of them were tugged off after the freezer (though it took FOREVER) one of the got the wire cutters to the saddle, torso, and legs (lol he wouldn’t come off). Green stuff should be here before Saturday. I made good use of the dark elf riders and spruced up this oldblood on carno. Btw I didn’t paint the carno, @TheCrazyKhorneGuy did. The blood was added by me. Lol the text was supposed to go before pics but I don’t feel like fixing it lol.

Edit: @Crowsfoot fixed it you lazy boy.

    Looking good!

Go a bit thicker with the Agrellan Earth. I normally also put down thinly scrapped layer of Stirland Mud and let it fully dry. Then I paint it Legion Steel Drab as a base coat to apply the Agrellan Earth on top of. The Stirland Mud will give a bit of grit for the Agrellan Earth to cling to. The can help reduce the brittle/flakiness of the cracked earth.

Lol I don’t have any GW paints my friend did the whole oldblood on carno I just painted the dark elf and the blood. Also my green stuff should arrive soon. What color scheme should I do for razordons. My red and cobalt scheme like my EOTG or a blue color scheme like my astrolith bearer. If you have another color scheme pls tell me. This is a pic of my paint colors. Though I could get more if needed.

I think I would base coat them in Burnt Umber, then layer high light with Toffee Brown, and finish off with some edge highlighting in Off White (which ever paint is second from the left in the nearest row). Then maybe do the greenstuffed quills in a black and grey tones?

Good thing is that you have a lot of each color... so you can mix larger amounts of paint an store in small jar glasses... makes it easier to recreate paint schemes... but don't forget to note the recepie somewhere...

As for the paint scheme for your razors I like @LizardWizard's idea. Another suggestion could be using your green colors and mix in some white or light blue to create the color for the final highlights ... hornes and spikes could be grey or in the off white with a shade of the lighter brown...

@LizardWizard and @tom ndege ty for help. I will definitely use that color scheme. And the offwhite is called antique white lol I just realized it was turned. Also in green stuff how easy are scale markings to do? When I add the green stuff I want it to fit well. Also can I use a toothpick to make them? A pin?

I would use a toothpick and some water. Greenstuff is much easier to work with when damp. Keep a paint brush you don't care about handy to wet the greenstuff as needed.

Any ways I could improve then (I have 3 more that haven’t been done). Also I’ve been wondering if the greenstuff when dry will be firm enough to hold the toothpicks. Should I add superglue after it dries? Also I realize that I put to much green stuff on I think in the original conversion I saw the greenstuff was there to cover up the saddle, not to actually hold the toothpicks. Lol pls give me some tips to fix them.
