Some interest was shown in my models on my introduction post, so I thought I'd share a pile of stuff and come back and update it as and when.

The photo's are in no particular order, apologies for any duff photos. :hurting:

More to follow... :cigar:

Wow really great stuff! You are really bringing the Mayan artwork to life! Looks like you are casting some of these after you are sculpting them? Really fantastic, I am especially loving the glyphs.

Thanks, all the Mayan sculpts are copied from real Mayan artifacts. I am indeed casting them and with the casts making larger pieces, although it's slow to make all the components it really helps speed up making larger objects.

At last a lot of this is not so much WIP as finished... tried to make it a variable piece rather than just one chunk.

Fantastic work and great group photos! I really like all the little inspired details. And how it is modular.

Well done! :artist:

Thanks chaps. :)

It's modular in the loosest of ways, you can have a flat floor on top, or one with a calendar, or the temple on top, or the temple to one side and pieces like an altar and throne on top, or a sarcophagus on top, or the sarcophagus inside the temple, etc. Tried to build it with a lot of variety rather than one set piece. If you know a better term than modular I'd be delighted to hear it. ;)
