Thanks guys. Yes, she's alright... ice cream doses help a lot and she's a tough girl anyway... when I asked her how she's doing, when I brought her to bed she told me: "I'm fine... I had four ice today!"

And the converted skink with cape... also close to finished... conversionwise... so nearly ready for painting..

The elephant is incredible! Quite the talent! Your ripper looks so damn good! You skink is looking amazing!

Had to go to the hospital later cause she smashed her front teeth on the rim of her bed... you can guess how happy she was when "Doc Mustafa" (guess he always uses his first name when dealing with children) told her that everything is alright and wrote a prescription for TWO portions of ice cream...
That and learning for the rest on Tuesday prohibited any progress on my projects... but I guess the elephant is worth sharing...

Very cute... poor kid, that sounds like an amazing prescription!

I like how both the ripper and the skink turned out.
That skink looks so unique that I am sure you can give him almost any paintjob and he will look awesome.

Decided for a color scheme for the skink... gonna be similar to the brown priest with the greenish head... bit simpler though...

And slapped some color on the other regiment skink... the crest looks quite nice I think... thoughts?


Also started painting the first of the sunblood... gonna add gems, loincloth and armor plates, later... thought it's easier this way...

Last thing for the moment is my terradon test model... redid and finished the skin and based the wings... next step will be highlights on the green head and on the wings...

He's really a bit bigger than the others...

Had to start another terradon...
so I like variety... thought I'd keep the red parts red for the unit... the green head looks cool, too. Kept it but made it brighter on this one... light skin tone is also cool... so I went for light grey... started with mechanicus standard as base and shadow and highlighted by layering... had a mix of 1:2 administratum and mechanicus followed by a 1:1 mixture of the same colors... next will be pure administratum grey followed by two layers with an increasing amount of light grey (Vallejo ghost grey). I will not use any washes before that is done... let's see how it turns out...

Used some leftovers from my terradon box and some milliput to start making this here...

Should have continued on the grey terradon cause tomorrow I'll have to start working on my homework for the exam... and I tend to forget what I've already done and what I've planed to do next if I take longer breaks from painting... (didn't start to take serious notes, yet... sometimes I write things down... but I to quickly forget where...) So... to keep track of the progress and as a reminder for myself:
I painted another layer... not as planned pure administratum grey but a 4:1 mix of administratum and mechanicus... the pure administratum was a little too brighter... next layer will be pure administratum then... still unsure if to switch to edgehedgehighlights for the last two colors or to keep layering and do edges after/before the washing...
Oh and as you see he's you a red rim on his back... so it's a male terradon...

I am curious how the sculpted terradon body will turn out. I really like how you have painted them so far.

I also like how you painted the three saurus figures. The newest one does look very tall, and very well painted , great color scheme.
