I have something here, that starts looking like a good piece of jungle terrain...

What do you think? More plants? I think I will add some bushes on the one side, after painting the base. The funny green thing in front of the tower will become a torch hopefully... Maybe ill add some more to the first platform if I'm satisfied how this on will turn out.
Hope you like it so far.

Looking very nice! :D Maybe some taller plants closer to the tower to make it look more submerged in the dense jungle, or some moss on the walls?

Moss is a good idea! I even thought of some plants grow up the walls...

Some bad news for today: I killed three of my temple guards in a bath of nail polish remover... My wife used to use another brand when I last used it to remove paint. What she's using now seems more aggressive... Ruined the models within minutes... Or seconds...
    Bad luck. :(

Platform looks amazing. Moss is a nice idea - you may consider also adding some vines on the walls, maybe with colorful flowers here and there. About the Guards - sorry for your loss. Maybe some tombstones hidden in bushes around platform to help you deal with grief. Always check the bottles: if there is compound called "Acetone" within the remover, don't use it to wash your minis. Acetone-free removers are less effective, but safe. Consider bathing your minis in denatured alcohol. I'm bathing some of mine miniatures in it right now, if you would like to see the effectiveness.

The bottle said acetone free... Sight_2015_10_26_204032_515.jpg
I guess some of the replacement is more aggressive then in the stuff I used before...
I like the idea of the tombstones... And the vines. Let's see what I can find on my next shopping trip. ;)

I use Dettol for stripping paint off plastic. It works well for me because I'm hella lazy and tend to not bother priming, so it comes right off!

I love the wooden fort. It's coming along very nicely.

    Thanks. Glad you like it.

I now use plastic cleaner, which works very well. I have used it before but when I ran out of it I wanted to use my wife's nail polish remover, what was a mistake. ;) it's special plastic cleaner for outdoor furniture and stuff like that. It works quite quickly and is really effective. But if you're lazy you can leave your plastics in there for weeks. But usually two times half an hour will do.

Oh... He is actually a champion/alpha... My normal saurus have green or grey skin and different colors for the scales. (I have a list which scale color on which skin color ;) ) only the leader of a unit gets a unique color scheme to be an eye catcher. But maybe I will at some colors to my list... ;)

Today I had quite some time to change the weapons of my older saurus warriors... Will at 5 of them to each unit. So actually the spear until will get three of the old plastic guys with converted weapons and two old metal saurus with new arms. I think with a similar painting same shields and weapons they might mix up with the other models and fit my idea of units made of individuals... Pictures will follow...

Maybe making those 5th "age" saurus as veterans or old-bloods? With extra scars and more jewellery.

Here is what I did to my second priest... I like it but I think I can do some more. Maybe the staff? Any suggestions? But take a look first...

Maybe something similar to Solar Crystal from from Blastiladon, instead of snakes atop the staff. Or some medieval astronomic equipment. Also, you can cut down the feathers, and use them to make Feathered Cloak. Hope this will help ;)

Wanted to keep the feathers as they are now cause I like that they are always two together... A crystal for the staff was something on my mind, too. Maybe with the snake head of my old prophet of sotek as addition... But would it be worth destroying the other model? Maybe I will have to go and get some real green stuff...

Here's what I did for the weekend...
Further cutting and gluing on the priest itself and some alternative tips for the staff... And don't look at the colors! It's not how it'll look when on the model... Sight_2015_11_06_230919_284.jpg Sight_2015_11_06_231015_766.jpg Sight_2015_11_06_230755_385.jpg Sight_2015_11_06_230806_045.jpg Sight_2015_11_06_230815_554.jpg

I like the one in the middle... The other look like this Barbie movie fairytale thing... And the one with the red ball seems quite big for the priest... What do you people think?

I think the other two would look quite good if you added a blot toad on top. (Maybe painted like the Hypno toad...) or some snakes from bastiladon or something like that. Painted up they will look better. And if all else fails use the GW motto of add more skulls!
