Indeed. I also see one in my own foreseeable future...Also an airbrush seems like a useful tool... seeing how some people here drop pictures of finished minis like @NIGHTBRINGER is dropping memes...![]()
It's amazing to see just how industrious and diligent some of our painters are! Also an airbrush seems like a useful tool... seeing how some people here drop pictures of finished minis like @NIGHTBRINGER is dropping memes...![]()
That dude still gets more painting done than I do!

Is there a specific red lacquer product that you use?
What book is this?Patterns are easy with an Airbrush for instance what you could do is paint a pattern on the Bassi shell in dark brown then spray the full shell in red lacquer and you would end up with the pattern showing through, the technique was used to do this.

Interesting, may have to investigate...
...I have an airbrush I picked up, It's quite used...
and haven't really tried it with paint yet for fear of getting it clogged with my crappy paint. :/
Try and get the same medium for your paint too... Vallejo medium for vallejo paints, same with cleaner. Seem to get the best results that way but technically any medium should do to thin it with. Don't thin with water, you'll live to regret it.
Also if you clog it up, it's not a massive job to clean it... Just takes balls to ram a needle down it backwards!
Interesting! The question is now if to do the rigging course as planned or get an airbrush...Patterns are easy with an Airbrush for instance what you could do is paint a pattern on the Bassi shell in dark brown then spray the full shell in red lacquer and you would end up with the pattern showing through, the technique was used to do this.
