I buy a six pack of 6 well palletws from Walmart for $1-2 when using dry pallets. I'm itching to try out my wet pallete which is huge and requires massive table space.
I prefer 24 toffiffee wells
As wet pallete I just take a larger blister, add some towel paper with water and baking paper. Benefits are: a mini, and a closable wet pallete.

So, working on the saurus goes slowly. Here's the base of my vortex I'm working on to distract me a little...
Still a little to d (adding some moss and roots) but you get the idea.
So, finished the vortex...
On to the next side project....
The moss/gras is a nice touch.
Agreed. It brings a little bit more of a sense of life to the piece. Lovely work!
