The one that leaves a good taste
They are indeed quite delicious!!!
Here is my latest creation for my nephew's first birthday. This was a combined effort with help from my mom who baked the cake. I just modeled the characters and decorations using fondant and gumpaste.
Those look amazing! Absolutely adorable!
It's been awhile but I have a new cake to add to this thread. Another cake masterpiece by the ever talented @Mrs. NIGHTBRINGER :
Get her making terrain, temples will be a piece of cake for her.
She is actually interested in doing so. She wants to make some Wood Elf terrain.
Thus far she has made a hill, which I think looks pretty great. I guess she wanted a high vantage point for all her Elfy archers.
Get a thread started.
WOW! I didn't even know some of that stuff was possible for cakes. Stunning!
I'd not be able to move due to cake if I were married to your wife. It'd be amazing.
Awesome, just awesome. Do you charge money for the cakes, or are they just things she makes out of kindness to your friends?
Both actually. She's made several cakes for friends, including the last one, just out of kindness. She's also sold birthday and wedding cakes.
She only makes cakes occasionally, but when she does, they are impressive IMHO.
Impressive most Impressive....
I could not resist!
And here is her latest cake... this one was for my Birthday...
And of course, begin the eating!!
Amazing! She's outdone herself. This is absolutely stunning! And Happy Birthday!
Thank you kindly.
It was a great Birthday!
This is when pastry making becomes a form of visual art.
Happy birthday, and happy eating!
The eating is all done I'm afraid... it was delicious though. My b-day was a couple of weeks back.
It took some time to post the pictures of the cake...
I had to get the pictures from my wife... plus I was being lazy!
