Finally had a bit of time to work on the back of my Astrolith. I plan on painting them up to look like stars in a constellation.
That sounds cool, I'd love to see pictures. I bought a pot of GWs blue gemstone technical paint to do the gems in the constellation. I think it will also be useful for the crystal palisade when I get that on the 30th.I had the same sort of idea last year which I will still do I think but it involves a temple, blue acrylic and lights.
Quick and dirty paint job on a Balewind Vortex for the new edition.

Thanks. I didn't think of doing the back in a darker color. I think the way I did is more representative of a banner.Cool idea, I totally thought you were going to reverse the colors if anything... so that the background was "darker" like space and the little lizard-medallions were brighter so they looked more like stars. This makes them look more like jewels stuck on a giant gold disk instead![]()

I dig the blue palisade! I may paint mine like that as well.View attachment 45164

Bought, built, and painted two endless spells. Four more are built, one is mostly painted as I need to buy a green wash or glaze.
Thanks! I would recommend the GW soulstone paints for it. It gives it a nice, gem-like finish.I dig the blue palisade! I may paint mine like that as well.
