Pics of newly painted priest

That's really a very nice model. I love the contrast between the grey and the yellow, and the purple orb in the staff is a great touch. Also the grey and gold is really surperply painted, very clean and bright.

Thanks for the compliments!! he took me a good solid 3 hours to paint but now that he is done I got 4 kroxigors sitting here staring me down for a paint job so ill post them as well as soon as im finished.

Looks very good, nice work! I do somewhat think the colour of the cloak is a little bit too close to the gold on the staff though, but it still looks good.

I like the gray skin, it makes him look like some sort of wise elder-priest :meh:

Ooh, very nice. I really like the contrast between the grey skin and the yellow. The teeth look a little funny, though, it looks like his entire mouth is yellow, like he tried to open your paint pot with his teeth.

I did that with a bottle of blood red when I was like 10... When I ran out screaming my parents were at first terrified! The old caps were really hard to open if some of the paint dried.
 
haha yea your right it does look like he was gettin up in my paint pot. I forgot to paint his gums ahh details, details....
 
I used to do it all the time too. I once spilled a pot of blue paint (almost the entire thing) into my mouth while trying to open it. Let me tell you, that stuff tastes horrible! :D
 
hi all, new to the site,new to warhammer, well 8 year break. really liking the colour of this army, great painting. would love to no what colours you used to get the yellow looking so cool.?
