.....yeah, that's pretty much all dogs everywhere. Some cats, too, as well as goat, rats, mice, the occasional human child (but only if you cut off the crusts first)...

I can answer this.

Because cats (and dogs) cannot talk and we don't have computer models that know what things taste like. At some point in the process of developing a new dog or cat food, a human has to taste it.

Many humans have a frame of reference for what salmon or chicken or beef tastes like. I'm sure somewhere, there is a human has eaten a mouse, but can you imagine conducting job interviews to find such a person?
