You might be right. Poor Slaanesh is the often forgotten of the Chaos gods. I just hope they get the aesthetic right.

I’m sure they will - GW are generally good at introducing new minis to existing armies (not so much new rules but certainly new minis). Khorne has a lot of stuff for AoS already - I imagine GW will mostly turn to 40K now for giving Khorne new releases as they’ll probably give the World Eaters their own book like they did for Thousand Sons and Death Guard. As Khorne, Tzeentch and Nurgle already have quite a lot of stuff and mostly up-to-date rules for AoS, I imagine it’ll be Slaanesh’s turn soon. In fact I read in one White Dwarf a letter from a player in one of the Scandinavian countries (I think it was Sweden) who pleaded to them to not forget Slaanesh. I reckon if they didn’t do anything for Slaanesh they would have a mutiny on their hands on the part of a large number of fans. In fact Slaanesh’s position is interesting in AoS as Slaanesh himself is temporarily incapacitated and imprisoned, so the forces of Slaanesh have a new ‘goal’ in life - to free their god from the clutches of the Elves.

I will keep going for as long as I can play with 8th (or hopefully with TOW [makes sign of the cross] as long as they don't fuck it up)

As of recently(couple of months) I have found more interest in the Wargaming side, especially Age of Sigmar. (Though I also have the Rulebooks of the 7th and 8th edition and the Lizardmen Armybooks of the 6th and 7th edition)

I would like to think I progress my wargaming skills in AoS (and even more wishful thinking, WHFB as well), be it wargaming alone. But most likely it will be the second from the bottom. Collecting and painting the models.

Grrr, Imrahil

Don't give up hope, my friend.

You already know that many of us will be happy to discuss aos :)

This I know and deeply love about this Community. But still the battle experience will, for a long time, be battling against myself... This will not give a very fast learning curve

But I strongly appriciate the advice and support from all of you:shamefullyembarrased:
