Rant: Lost my models

Damn damn damn!

All my lizardmen models are gone!!

Plus a few blood bowl sides, necromunda gang... all painted.

Always thought they were stored at my parents. Tried to get them at Christmas and they weren't there. Either they have been thrown out or left at my Nan's, which has been sold and knocked over.

So that is it... all the art from my childhood.... grrrrr

Nothing I can do about it but RANT!

Wow that's tough.
I remember how I thought I had lost a whole lot of my beloved Lego sets so I really feel for you.
They reappeared one day though, so I wish you the best of luck to get your models back as well.

Thanks guys. I haven't played a game of warhammer in 17 years. I have played some blood bowl and necromunda though, even starting a new necromunda campaign. All in all, from a practical point of view, I guess it isn't that bad.

But it just sucks to lose stuff that has so much work having gone into it... I always wondered if my kids would play it, if they do, it will be annoying I don't have the stuff I used to use as a kid.

Poor you! I can imagine how annoying it must feel!

I thought I had lost my Saurus Oldblood once, just a single model but one of my best painted, and I just kept looking for him everywhere and couldn't find him, and was getting really frustrated until one day I looked more carefully in a case that I had looked in before and found him. Did you look everywhere at your parents' house? If not, I recommend you do so and look very carefully in case they are all hidden in a dark corner somewhere. Hope you find them again!

I really doubt my parents would have chucked it. I think the most likely scenario is it was at my Nan's house. I am going to send the developer a letter... One on a million. It's also possible I moved them from the box I stored them into something else... One in ten million.

But I'm ready to call it - they're gone
