8th Ed. Ripperdactyl/Terradon Armor Save?

8th edition (cuz AoS is wierd, and Ive never taken a look at 9th age)

What is the armor save for rippers and by extension terradons?

So rippers, the skinks have scaly skin 6+, and a shield, but since they are mounted do they get an additional +1, making their save a 4+?
Same with terradons, only they dont have a shield, so 5+?
