    Yeha! I still need to make it fit nicely into the rock, I was also wandering about the rider, I want to use a beter oldblood thant the one that comes with the model. I was thinking maybe a GorRock conversion or a conversion of the oldblood from the new Carnosaur Kit.

    Nice base, I have the same model but with no rider, I was thinking a converted old blood but unsure yet, the base is a nice feature.

    You are probably going to have to drill and pin it to that base.
    well we have lots of decent material for converting saurus hero's,
    I would probably keep the lower half of the original one though.

    I agree, keeping the lower half of the original model will make it much easier to accurately mount.

    @NIGHTBRINGER @n810 thanks guys! Using the lower section of the body as a baseline for the conversion is actually a very good advice!

    @Crowsfoot yeha I want to convert mine too. I made the base because the new one is so huge that even though I will probably be using this one as a scarvet I didnt want it to look ridiculously small when I put it on the table.

    @Xlanax_lot I prefer the size of the metal carny, the new one just looks so big, started pinning him last night and I think a dark elf cold one will feature somewhere.

    I like the old metal carnosaur better as well. I thought I was the only one. I think the head is much better on the old one.

    I love the base! That's gonna look awesome!

    I have played with the idea of making the old carno to be a mount for a Scar Vet BSB and let the new one be a mount for my Oldblood. That would give them some level of importance and I also think it would be fun to play! (My friends and I get together sometimes and have weekends of "Monster Mash" where we pack in as many monsters as we possibly can into our lists and let 'em go at one another. Loads of fun!)

    Thanks @Crowsfoot !! The carni its in hold at the moment. It is primed and the base almost finished.

    But most of my time lately has been going into finishing the Steg! :s
