Scribbling some lines on paper

How do you guys feel about Black and White drawings versus colored ones in general?

I like shaded pencil/pen drawings, those always look good. For simpler characters I prefer coloured drawings.

Straight lines are a pain though, but I guess it's just a matter of practicing.

Now this was initially meant as an offering to the old one Aartzifartzi, but alas it seems his priest has vanished so I will place the offering here:



Don't quite know if I like it that much myself. I guess it not total trash considering I haven't done much coloring on pc and that it's made using a mouse. Still I think I prefer my original pencil drawing.

As for the drawing of High Queen Khalida, Samurai Jack and a Slann I have not forgotten (NIGHTBRINGER), I have just let myself be preoccupied by lots of other stuff, but I hope to make them soon.

Now the time has finally come for High Queen Khalida (NIGHTBRINGER).
It took much longer than I expected with all the coloring, and I'll admit that I got impatient at some point so it's not as refined as it could have been, but it is what it is. Because I did all the coloring I removed the black lines from the sketch and I think it works okay, I'm not however quite satisfied with the overall result, but I don't wan't to use any more time on it now.
I've been fiddling with a signature, mostly for fun, but I figured I'd put it on.
Seemingly the image is too big to upload directly to LO, so this time I'll just provide a link:

Also one of mine , I think its design is much better than Venusaur's; I would have preferred if they had kept the markings, not given it warts and keep the pupils black, but alas, I'm not a Pokémon designer, and I'd go with Charizard almost all the time anyway

It is also one of the pokemon of which I like all three forms, which is rare.

The other plant pokemon I really like is #153 (Bayleef).
Probably because it looks a bit like a dinosaur, come to think about it.
But I am not a big fan of its predecessor or successor.

Another negative example is the little fire pig (Tepig) which is super cute, but I dislike how it looks when it evolves.

Being a dinosaur is always a plus
I won't say that I dislike Meganium, but I'll definitely agree that Bayleef has the better design.

I think for me it is mostly the anthropomorphic ones that are just....creeping me out I guess. IIRC the black and white editions had a lot of those.
