Screw introduction. Lets get to the lists. List from week one: 1500 points (cant remember this one correctly. Mistakes are possible) Eternal starhost Eternity warden 3x10 saurus guard 2x3 ripperdactyl riders 10 chameleons 2x salamanders Skink handlers That was that i think. Not sure if i field handlers though. Anyway, major victory against dark elves. Week two list, 2000: Eternal starhost Eternity warden 3x10 Saurus guard Lord Kroak Scar-veteran on carnosaur Skink priest 2x2 salamanders Skink handlers My opponent had a mix of wanderers and sylvaneth (Durthu and hunters with bows). The big tree killed my priest no problem with one strike, but took a wound before. The first turn was mine, and i send Durthu flaming back to the suitcase Major victory for the lizardmen. Here is the idea for monster mash against Sylvaneth. Thunderquacke starhost EotG Bastilodon with solar engine Stegadon with giant bow Kroxigors 1x salamander Skink handlers Slann starmaster 2x10 skinks So what do you think? Laying without the guard is new stuff for me. Could use some advice The list is 1620, but my opponent is ok with it.
I would remove the krox and put in 1 more salamander. Keeps it legal, and you don't need both kroxigor and salamanders for the thunderquake.
Daaamn! Didnt realize that! Thx! Btw, my opponent played with Sylvaneth. Durthu had an artifact and comman trait- he had 2+ save, immunity to -1 rend and a wizard with regrowthas backup. Killed him in round 3 ^^
Is Durthu a named character? If so they can't take artifacts or traits.... If not why does his name sounds like it should be one.
Technically its Spirit of Durthu and fluff says that those are forest spirits that are descendants of the legendary Durthu.
If only your victories weren't against another order faction... Anyway, congrats! Sylvaneth are used to play into forests, we rule the thickest jungles!
