My sacred spawning albino slann
Here is my Slann!
Hey guys, I wanted to share my slann with you as well. Here goes:
Here is the Slann I painted and converted. It proudly sat upon the top of my wedding cake along with a Spellweaver that my wife painted.
And on top of our wedding cake, with a bit of condensation since the cake was in the fridge and the wedding was outdoors in Cuba...
That is awesome beyond words
Thank you kindly!
Having your Slann on top of your wedding cake is really awesome lol. He looks great too!
This is beautiful, those idol heads in the movement tray are an incredible touch, plus the purple body of the Slann really helps those yellow markings pop.
Indeed! I really like the aboriginal feel of the war paintesque markings
My Slann should be here this weekend, I can't wait to get started working on it. I've got some big ideas.
Me too but im waiting for my painting to improve.
Worst case scenario is that you remove all the paint and then try again from scratch no? It never hurts to give it a try. My Slann is here and I need to go buy some paint shades that I don't already have so I can post a picture when he's all done.
True, I got the forgeworld slann of ebay and a metal slann, the metal slann im going to convert but lacking ideas atm, I wanted to try and suspend it using "lightning" but Im still searching for a fesiable soultion.
Hmm, what if you can find some sort of action figure or toy online with some transparent lightning bolts, cut them off of the toy, and then glue it to the bottom of his platform and use that to suspend him on the base?
I got one off of Ebay as well. It's a pretty rare model!
I have bought some bare plastic railway trees which I intend to turn upside down and hopefully they will look like lightning, got some rider bits of ebay (bits-world) and I intend to remove the slanns arms and make them more animated.
Yeah hes pretty cool so im keeping him nice and simple when I paint him.
I've been saving that one to paint later. I'd like to improve my painting before tackling that project.
Me too, Im slowly getting my mojo back
