    I use army painter paints, so the base coat for the lighter skinks are electric blue, and for the slightly darker skinks I start with crystal blue. These are washed with blue wash, then highlighted back with the base coat. Some more highlighting is done with white mixed into the base colors to lighten the hue.

    Been awhile once again, I've gotten some things painted for other armies, but more importantly I finally got this beastie done.
